About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Estimation Engineer to join our team in Kozhikode, supporting construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documents while working closely with our Qatar-based commercial and project teams. Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO) and material take-offs (MTO).
- Prepare BOQs and project cost estimates.
- Perform rate analysis for labour, materials, and subcontract works.
- Prepare tender pricing and bid documents.
- Coordinate with the Qatar team during the tender process.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Maintain estimation records and tender documentation.
- Support budget preparation, variation orders, and cost analysis.
- Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in construction estimation and tendering.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, QTO, and cost estimation.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- GCC/Qatar project experience is an added advantage.
